Energizer Smoothie Recipe
10ml Turbo Vite (or any other energy booster that is in a liquid form or tablet that can dissolve )
200g Honeydew melon
3 Kiwis
200g Pineapple
80ml Pineapple juice
160g Crushed ice
Mix all the ingredients, except the ice, in a blender until smooth.
Pour over the crushed ice and stir.
Serve chilled.
Fact: Pineapples are rich in manganese, a mineral that your body needs to build and protect your bones.
To ensure that you receive an optimum amount of essential vitamins and minerals, I recommend 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day. Naturally occurring substances that give fruit and vegetables their different colours are also what make them good for you.
Fact: Freezing fruit preserves its nutrients for longer. While it shouldn't be defrosted, it's a great replacement for ice in smoothies.
